Stopped in on a Saturday morning a couple weeks ago. Weren't many folks there at all when we first arrived but by the time we left, it was maybe half full. There was one waitress who was trying her best, but it seemed like she was very new. Service terribly slow, no silverware, took several minutes after we'd received our order, which was lackluster at best. Examples of service: once the food was delivered, she never came back; she took coffee pot to nearby table asking if they wanted more, and then took it back to it's roost, and then came to us to see if we wanted more, then went back to get the pot again. Perhaps an off day service wise, but the food was NOTHING to write home about.

Both of us had the fried catfish special for dinner. Was the largest piece of catfish I've ever had. Could only eat half. And the quality was Excellent. Price was fantastic. Full dinners and two desserts and tip under $30! Friendly service. Easy low key spot...

Overall a nice place with homemade/real food. Would definitely go back and suggest it others to do the same. Pros: Homemade food Small diner style Cheap pricing Cons: Bathrooms are really close to the seating/kitchen area Chef leaves a little to be desired (ie using beef gravy on a hot roast turkey sandwich) I wasn't too wow'ed by the hot roast turkey I had, has potential but could be better (too much bread..said sourdough but looked like regular bread to me, beef gravy). I'll probably go back and try the "oozin" hamburger (hamburger with cheese stuffed in it). Oddly enough the item that surprised me was the homemade potato chips, would definitely suggest getting them when you go and the apple pie was quite good too. All and all a nice place with real food with the right price.

Very good food. Hand made burgers cooked to order, sides were obviously freshly made. My husband had the special which was fried haddock which was huge and yummy. The cole slaw was crisp and seasoned well. Good small town restaurant with great prices. Can't wait to try breakfast. Service was quick and friendly.
